Is Northport too far? We found the View to be great and affordable. They have a special for the winter months.

Re: Need to find a place for communion party!!!!
What are you looking for in terms of people and time? I just booked my son's at La Parma this past weekend. I called and/or visited a ton of places. Since I can't start until 4 pm - all restaurants were out and many places with private rooms were all booked up. I did try Singletons (I have been to a party there and it was good) but they were booked unless I wanted to start really late (they had one room available).
I called Thom Thom, Wantagh Inn, Il Felice, Il Classico, Matteos, Peppercorns, Antonettes, and so many more.....don't have my list in front of me.

Re: Need to find a place for communion party!!!!
Wow. Thanks!!! I am lookin for around 90 people and from 1-5. And maybe would like a dj but not totally necessary just not quite sure what to do to amuse the kids!!! Where is la Parma? All those places seem near to me. I have heard of them but never been. Did you have them in any particular order or had experiences with them? And singletons is good for parties? Sorry. Just starting to go nuts!! Lol

Your time is much more workable if you want a restaurant so you will have more options than I did if you go the restaurant route.
La Parma is Oceanside. The have a private room upstairs very small dance floor - but won't fit 90 people. I have 50-60 people. I think you can have the main restaurant at that time though.
Thom Thom is too small in their private room but can give up the restaurant at that time but no dance floor.
I'd try Singletons. I went to one party there and it was good. Papa Razzi has come highly recommended to me and the main room should fit your needs. They were booked for my date. La Piazza is suppose to be nice but I never went there. They are probably booked. I know my friend booked it before she even had her date with her fingers crossed. I had my daughters baptism at Coral House and they did a great job and were very reasonable - not sure how they are now - they do have new owners and for May prices go up. They were booked for my date and time.
Most of the places I listed I do not have experience - I was just going nuts and trying everywhere that was close enough to home.
Good Luck. FM me if you have particular questions.
