Another WWYD
I am getting married in a month, I already booked my honeymoon and I will be away from 16th-30th. When do I disclose this information and how do I disclose this information? I know this may hurt the chances I have for this employment.
Please help!

Re: Another WWYD
I just went for an interview this morning at a retail store but I too was nervous because we have reservations to be away for the week of Thanksgiving including Black Friday! I felt I had to be up front during the interview and was told not to worry about it and I was still asked to come in and sign papers to start work. I say definitely say it early on in the process and you will feel better about it and it just may work out. Good luck.

Dont mention the vacation until you are offered the job.

When you are offered the job, then you bring it up.

Re: Another WWYD
Wait for an offer.
Plus, many employers understand that people may have prior committments and/or would need a flexible start date.
Also just wanted to throw out the fact too that if you start right away and do go on your honeymoon, there is a good chance this would be unpaid. I know this would be the case with my employer.
Especially that amount of time. Generally people don't take more than 1 week off at a time.
