Registry completion event at BBB- UPDATE- GC EVENT IS STILL ON
Is anyone going to this on 11/4? I got an email that everything on my registry will be 20% off but I'm trying to see if there are any brand exclusions. I emailed but no response and called and was on hold for 8 minutes till I hung up.

i got the email - it states diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and portrait studio sessions are excluded.
Thinking about attending!

I actually got a live phone call about this, so was able to clarify things. She said it includes all big ticket items, including bugaboos and uppa baby's etc. Does not include diapers and wipes though.
I want to go, but feel it will be a madhouse and not really sure if I can deal with such a huge crowd.

My shower is sunday - so would be a good gauge of what essential things we need to get and use the 20off then.

I'm sure it would. Bugaboo's and Uppa's are always excluded as well, so I specifically asked about that and she said they are part of the offer this one time.

If it's anything like bed bath and beyond for wedding registries they do it every 3 months, but you are only allowed one event, with weddings its the one directly after your wedding date. I'm not sure how they know when to invite you for the pregnancy one!

I'm going to the event in the city
I'm super excited. If I don't get my stoller at my shower, I plan on purchasing here.
I have a few things to return - I should be able to do that the same night, right?

OMG the hospital tour at NSH was brutal ... I would have rather gone to BBB lol ... DH even tried to get me to leave in the middle of it.

I just created a registry four days ago because my mom insisted that I do so because everyone is asking what I need. I haven't received the email you guys are referring to. Do you need it as an entrance or anything or can you just go and they look up your registry? I'd really like to get the xcitu select!

Is this only for the manhattan store? I got the invite too but don't see how I would carry everything I need home on the train, I live much closer to the Garden City location

I called GC and they said I can attend the 11/4 event at their store instead, woohoo. I can't wait to get my double stroller and crib

I registed to go; but I'm rethinking it now. It's before my shower; so I'd rather wait and see what I still need to buy instead of going and getting the things for myself.
I am tempted though to get the Uppa Vista for 20% off! I bought the Britax B-ready during the free ride event; but really want to Uppa...might consider exchanging my Britax for the Uppa and just pay the difference!

their website states the GC and huntinton locations are closed.
i tried calling the chelsea store twice and someone picked up but they couldnt hear me so they hung up.
