You can google AHA NY. They are a support group of Long Island families with children that have Asperger's and High Functioning Autism. There is a number you can call and reach a live person.
The can give you Doctor's names and numbers and suggest books to you.
You can also get a free eval for your child through EI under 3 and CPSE for 4 and above.
