What if you get more than one job offer?
This is just for part time sales at the Outlets, probably during the holidays only. I was hired by one store on the spot and told to come in next week to fill out papers so we can get started. Meanwhile I was told by two other stores that they would contact me in a few days. What if one or both of them do call and show interest in me? Do I just say I accepted another offer and end it there or do I ask direct questions on the phone regarding pay and hours? I was told the pay at the one that wants me and am certain the others would be the same but I was so happy I forgot to ask how many hours per week or what days are involved. If I call to ask them that it would look like I am wavering and I don't want to do that.

Being that it is a PT retail job just for the holidays, if one offers you more money or more hours there is nothing wrong with calling the original place you accepted to decline. When accepting ANY offer you should ask about pay and hours. That is a huge part of it. I would call back, ask for the store manager, tell her who you are and ask if she has time to answer a few questions about your schedule/shifts you would be working and about how many hours a week she/he thinks it would be. It doesn't look like you're wavering, it looks like you want to know when you would be expected to come to work. Plus there are people who work more than one retail job if they get set schedules. I am sure they wouldn't think twice about your question.
