Makeup artist
Hi all! I am licensed and do makeup for friends and family but would like to broaden into bridal and maybe photo shoots but I am alittle shy and not sure how to get my name out there. Any one have experience and could give suggestions?

You could try to post on the sister website, LIWeddings.com. I would try to become a LIWeddings vendor but I don't know what you would have to do.

Offer to do a few free before and afters. Make a Facebook page and just have friends sit for you at first. Not sure what the rates are to advertise on LIW but even if you got a few girls to sit for you and they were happy, word of mouth is KEY over there.
