Quick question.. Chemical pregnancy..
I just found out I was pregnant, and started bleeding this morning.. It's so early, but still hard bc we have been trying for this baby for awhile.. My question is, when I miscarried in 2009 I had to get sonos every week to make sure that everything was clear.. Is that the same with a chemical pregnancy? Or can I just do this at home? I just moved so I feel weird calling my new OB bc I didn't have an appt for a few weeks and I've never been there before..
TIA

Re: Quick question.. Chemical pregnancy..
A chemical is a bit diff. in that its typically the same as getting a late period...you'll prob feel the same as getting AF maybe slightly heavier (from what i've heard).
Are you bleeding heavily? Cramping? I wouldn't rule out being pg just yet. You could always go and have your beta tested and retested 2 days later...Some women bleed in the beginning and things are OK. You never know
Sending you hugs!!!

Re: Quick question.. Chemical pregnancy..
Thank you so much!
Unfortunately I'm bleeding very heavily with cramping and seeing small clots.. I tried thinking positive in the morning but it keeps getting worse as the day goes on.. Again thanks so much, I'm not taking this as well as I would like being home with my two kids, so I appreciate the info.

I'm sorry It's really really upsetting to be pregnant one minute and the next it's gone. I just went through it myself and was very upset for a while, but I am at the point now where I'm looking to the future, and trying again. I like to think whats meant to be will be and the baby meant for us next will join us when it's time.
I wish you the best, and that you are blessed with a healthy baby asap!!

I had an early MC in September and the worst part for me was that it started on a Friday, so I had to wait the entire weekend to get my levels re-checked. The DR kept giving me hope because I wasn't necessarily displaying typical miscarriage symptoms, and it could have all been very well normal to bleed in the beginning. Even when it was over, it was nothing worse than a heavy period...I barely had any cramping or pain, a few clots, and then the bleeding stopped within 5 days of when it began. My levels were back to 0 by Monday. I got my first AF exactly 5 weeks later. I truly believe that your body knows what to do in these kinds of situations. I believe it was meant to be for a reason. It was really hard the first few weeks, but the emotional pain has slowly faded. If anything, the best part of this ordeal was that it brough DH and I closer than I could have ever imagined, and it definitely cemented to us that we're ready to have a baby.
Many hugs and prayers for you
