Does anyone use Seasonique?
I have an OB appointment, but I am curious if anyone takes this and has a lot of issues with breakthrough bleeding. TIA!

Re: Does anyone use Seasonique?
I used it for over a year. Had no breakthrough bleeding at all.

Re: Does anyone use Seasonique?
when I was on BCP, I asked them for this bc I wanted to 4x a year period. And the Dr said to use the pills I was on. Instead of taking the sugar pills, you just start another pack.
I did it for years. It was great.

I used my regular pill and skipped for 10 years straight no problems. Most pills are fine to use. The only people I've heard have breakthrough bleeding were the ones using seasonique

I do that. I tried Seasonique and had bleeding but I have had bleeding with several brands of pills, with Nuvaring and with a lot of generics .

when you say you skipped for 10 years do you mean you did not have a period at all for 10 years? i was thinking about doing this with my pill, but i am worried about it being harmful to skip periods every month.

For five years straight I skipped and did not get a period at all. I was told to for fertility reasons. At the time I was going through chemo and they told me it would actually help my fertility to take the pill continously. I was also told it is perfectly healthy to skip because any period you get while on the pill is not technically a real period anyway. Then I got so used to not getting my period and loved it so I would skip it and let myself get one every 4 months or so. Stopped the pill a few months ago and everything is back to normal. In Europe that is supposedly the only way they take the pill(continously) HTH
