Jon Bon Jovi's Daughter Arrested After Heroin Overdose
(Reuters) - Rock star Jon Bon Jovi's daughter was arrested in New York state on Wednesday on drug possession charges following a suspected heroin overdose, local police said.
Stephanie Bongiovi, 19, was found unresponsive in a dormitory room at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York from an alleged overdose and taken to a local medical facility, according to the Town of Kirkland Police Department.
Heroin and marijuana were found in the dorm room during a search, police said.
Bongiovi was later booked on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance (heroin), marijuana possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. She has since been released, police said.
Representatives of the singer declined to comment.
Police said Ian S. Grant, 21, a student who was in the same room as Bongiovi, was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and later released. Both Bongiovi and Grant will appear in court at a later date.
Hamilton College declined to comment on the arrests or Bongiovi's health but said it is cooperating with the police investigation.
Bongiovi is the oldest of four children of rocker Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley.

Wow, very sad, thank god she is alive and hope she gets the help she needs. She looks just like her dad.
Bon Jovi's son attends a private school in Brooklyn and I know someone who works there, he is always at the Football games and school events and is apparently very nice and down to earth..

So beyond shocked. Considering how hard JBJ tries to have this squeaky clean image and works so hard to shield his kids from the media....yikes!! So very sad.
She has amazing blue eyes, like her Dad but think she looks more like her mom.

OMG.. so sad. I hope she goes to treatment.  I know what their family is going through since my family member is a Heroin addict. not an easy thing to overcome! I hate THIS drug so much!!

Thank god she was helped in time. She is beautiful. I have worked with him and his wife during some events a few years back and they are really down to earth and nice people. I feel bad for their family and hope the girl turns out ok.

He lives a block away from my brother, my SIL is dying to spot him lol

Wow, that's awful. There are so many young people getting into heroine these days, I just don't understand it at all and it's so sickening. How do you even try a drug like this knowing what it does to people??? Hopefully this will be a wake-up call to her and she'll clean up her act but sadly this doesn't seem to happen often.
