Recommend a speech therapist in Manhattan or Queens

If you live in Queens then google Early Intervention queens county, same for Nassau, whichever one you live in. As long as he's under 3 years old you will receive a free evaluation and in NY, if approved for services they will be free as well.

Thank you both. Our pedi asked at 18months if we wanted an evaluation and I held off and now DH is 21 months. I think this time I will take him up on the suggestion though he didn't seemed to concerned since language explosion can happen after age 2. It's tough because my older dd is so verbal and fluent in 3 languages and she is only 3.5 years old. Pedi says not to compare but how can you not

I believe my sis had her evaluation done for her dd at positive beginnings.....we r in middle village queens

You can call St Mary's Hospital for Children they offer EI services home care.

If you need a private SLP- you should contact [email protected]. She is a great private Speech therapist. If you arent looking for private, then you should contact your county for EI services.
