JCP or Picture People? Added poll too.
i HATED JcP. I dont care how much money I saved the photos were 'meh' ok and not really 'wow' but for the money no complaints there but the guy taking our photos was just barely interested in getting AJ to smile and was so set on HIS poses it got annoying. They came out sorta run of the mill, seen it in a photo frame in a store type. I like 'different' and things that show HER as herself.. a kid and enjoying life.
I also nearly lost it when I didn't realize you dont go home with your photos (my fault for not asking) my Dad was visiting and I took him so we'd have Grandpa and AJ photos only to have to send him back to Iowa empty handed. Very disappointing.
It was the first and last time I'll ever go to JcP.

Agreed! Picture People spent so much more time and energy getting smiles and great pictures. Leaving with the photos the same day is also a huge plus!

I was just at JCP in the Sunrise Mall today. It's the third time that I've been there & I've been VERY happy with them! The photographers always spend a lot of time with my kiddos making sure that we get good shots. It's true that you have to wait for the pix though...I thought it was like that everywhere, but I guess not! I have to wait a week to get mine

I love JCP. I think it really depends to which store you go. I like Sunrise Mall too.
Plus entail the end of November the session is free, you just pay for pictures them self, which is $4 a sheet.

I was there today too! I was very happy with our photographer, she spent alot of time with us, I didn't feel rushed and we got lots of great pictures. This was my first using JCP, I wasn't expecting much but I'm really happy with our experience today.

Too funny! What time were you there? I was there around 10:30 with my 2 little guys...I was talking to a few moms, I wonder if we met! Lol

I just did DDs first birthday portraits at JCP, and we love it! I love each picture and the photographers we had were fantastic. I guess it depends on which store.
