my ds qualified for special ed preschool so now we are starting to look at some. I was looking for some recomendations for schools in western nassau. They recommended variety in syosset and little village in seaford but they seem a bit far away.
Any advice is appreciated.
TIA

Re: preschools
My daughter did 2 years of preschool at Boces Children's Readiness Center in Bellmore. Everyone at the school is awesome. She came so far being there and I saw so much progress in her. It has more of a "school" feel. She continues to go there for kindergarten. I love it; and so does she. If you have any questions, feel free to FM me.

Re: preschools
my nephew is in western nassau, east rockaway and there really wasn't anything close to their house. Variety, little village are both very good but he is starting ACDS in plainview next week. He is 2 and it is full day, and he will be dropped off at his daycare around 4pm until my sister can pick him up.

DS started at ACDS for the 2 year program... he then went to BOCES CRC age 3 & 4. he was accepted into a full day program at Little Village but we loved CRC so much we turned down that coveted spot.
AJ is 5 and he is mainstreamed now... BOCES did a FANTABULOUS job and i LOVED LOVED it there
