3D/4D sonogram
Thinking about a 3d/4d sonogram? Did you recommend it? Did you know a place near Stony Brook, Suffolk area.?

Re: 3D/4D sonogram
how far along are you and where are you going for your other sonograms?
I went to the hospital for my 20 week NT scan and they turned on the 3d for me and printed out 2 3d pics in addition to the regular sono pics.
I have a 32 week growth scan scheduled next week and was told if the baby is cooperating they will do the 3d then too.
so my point is, you may not need to pay for it...sure its not 20 mins of 3d viewing but it was still cool to see and we got to see a lot with our regularly scheduled appts...but we got to save money

i want to get one done sooooooooooo bad...but my LO has been breech for over a month now and i was told i wouldn't get good shots if i went to get them done. Don't want to waste the money if i won't get a good shot...lets hope this baby turns!

Re: 3D/4D sonogram
It's actually better to get shots when the baby is breech, or head up, because there's still more room for the baby to move around. I got a 3D/4D scan done last week. My tends to always have his face covered by his hands or a foot, but he eventually moved his hand. He was sideways so we only got a profile, but for us, it was totally worth it to get a sneak peek of the LO!
ETA: The best time to go is around 28-32 weeks. I went at 29w6d and it was a good time.
