kindergarten party ?

I am so torn over this issue..whether or not to invite the whole class or just girls..Also what if a preschool child friend is in another class do I invite that child also..DD also wants to invite a few dance friends..This whole thing is stressing me out. Any suggestions/advice on this matter..thanks

My daughter's class has 26 kids in it, plus her outside friends. So sadly we just can't invite the whole class to functions. We had a Halloween party at my house and only invited the girls because it would have just been too many kids. I felt a little bad, but I'm sure the other parents understand. We have since been to a couple of parties that only a few kids from the class were invited to. I think it's rare these days for the entire class to be invited. So I say just invite the girls, the girl from the other class, and some dance friends. You should mail the invites to the girls' homes though. Most schools don't let you pass them out unless the whole class is invited anyway.

DD's bday was in October. I had to send out the invites out at the end of Sept before the class list was sent home. I invited her whole class (18 kids), her pre-k friends (4) and other outside friends about 12. It was fun and chaotic. Hoping to talk her into a girls only party next year.

we invited the whole class. but DS goes to private school so there is only 16 kids including him. But he has 30 coming to his party! more than I wanted to spend but what can you do, its once a year!

We were told if you are going to send the invites home through the school, you must invite the whole class.

I just invited girls for DD. She has 24 kids in her class. 14 are girls. People understand, trust me.
