My story
I just wanted to share my story; my hope.
After two miscarriages: one natural at 8 weeks and a blighted ovum, which I needed a d&c at 10 weeks and a chemical pregnancy, I just gave birth to a beautiful HEALTHY baby boy on 12/5/12. Thankfully, my pregnancy was uneventful with no complications, but not a day went by where I did not worry about the 'what ifs'. From the day I found out we were expecting, I was scared to death. I didnt feel like I could be happy and celebrate the pregnancy like 'normal' people would because all I could think about was "what if I miscarry? what if something happens?". We didnt even tell our parents/siblings until 8 weeks, after we heard the heartbeat because of my fear, we finally told DS #1 (who is 8) around 13/14 weeks and we had our scan. Most doctors appointments I cried on the way to because I was so nervous and held my breath until we heard the glorious sound of our babies heart.
Needless to say; our baby is here and I am so in love. I count my blessings because I truely feared that I could not carry a baby again, even though my Dr could not find a reason for the miscarriages.

What a great story and it gives us all hope!! Everything you've been through will make you love your son that much more and never take the gift of his life for granted! I love the name too! congrats :)
