Can you make a cake the day before a party?
SOrry full of q's this morning!
Can I make a cake for tomorrow today, and just ice it tomorrow? Does it taste as good?

I think it's actually better to do that, because the cake is fully cooled and settled and firms up a bit, making it easier to frost and decorate. As others said, just make sure you store it properly -- wrap it well or put it an an airtight container in the fridge -- and you should be good to go!

Can you make a cake the day before a party?
I usually bake my cakes, freeze them, then frost as soon as I remove the cake from the freezer. It makes out so much easier to frost.
