Well, looks like we'll have to try again
Seems like the first IUI didn't work, so I guess we will have to go at it again. AF hasn't arrived yet, but I tested an got a BFN and my temps dropped all the way down to my coverline....so it doesn't look good at all...guess we are going to have to try again...I hope the RE will maybe be a little more aggressive...

Im so sorry gerty!
I know you must be feeling so much frustration and sadness...
Stay hopeful...I have said before, everyone I know or have seen online seems to get "it" the 2nd or 3rd IUI...So even though thats a depressing thought it itself...a failed try at #1...means just having to maybe wait a month or two longer...try to think of it that way if you can...
In the meantime...HANG IN THERE!!

Gerty- I am so sorry this cycle was a bust.
Make sure you tell your doctor you want to be more aggresive!
This cycle I went into my doc's office and *I* told *him* that we were doing an injectable iui cycle. He said he thought it was a great idea and he was waiting for me to be ready. My point is, make sure your doctor knows that you want to be more aggresive it *might* change his/her approach.

I'm sorry Gerty! I know how much you were hoping this was it. I've been doing a lot of reading on IUIs (since I'm starting next month too) and they say that with high sperm count the success rate per IUI is only 15-26%. It seemed a little low to me but when I think about the success rate withOUT IUI being only 6% it is a big jump. I really hope next month is your month...and you know those who do get PG with IUI have a 25% chance of having multiple births!

Im so sorry, that the IUI didnt work. Did you do 2 of them?? Are you taking anything , injections, clomid??

This was my first and I took Clomid and Estrogen....I am going to talk to them about injectibles this cycle.

So sorry Gerty  But as a few of the other ladies said, it often seems that the second or third time is "the charm" when it comes to IUI

Well, it looks like AF is starting to arrive. I've been spotting since yesterday afternoon, so I guess she will be here enforce pretty soon. Geez, could have saved money on the test if I had waited a day
Of course then I would not have been able to satisfy my POAS addiction for the month

I am so sorry for you. I am in the same boat. This was my first IUI as well, unfortunately DH's count was low so I wasnt that hopeful. Maybe we'll be in the 2WW together next month and get 2 BFP's
