Restaurant suggsetions near Stonybrook University
My sister is graduating from Stonybrook tomorrow and we are looking for an inexpensive restaurant for lunch after the ceremony.
We do not want places like applebees, fridays or anything like that.

Maybe somewhere in Port Jeff? Also John Harvard's is fun/nice. There is also a place by the train station, I forget the name, but its pubby and pretty good from what I remember of my time there.

O Sole Mio has delicious food!!!! They are right near Waldbaums and movie theater on 347 and Hallock Rd. We eat there ALL the time.
ETA - It's Italian. And on weekdays they have their lunch menu which is great. The also have the most TO DIE FOR garlic rolls that they give you on the table.

Restaurant suggsetions near Stonybrook University
Mario's in Setauket is great, Pentimento in Stony Brook is awesome, The Bench is very casual, you can go to the Tavern part of the Three Village Inn, very pretty and decorated for christmas. There is also a diner on 25A in setauket that is pretty good.

Mario's, 5th Season (down port), Pasta Pasta (down port also). Pentimento's in nice in SB. I would choose Pasta Pasta though!
