If you had a say....
in the sex of your baby what would you prefer? Now I KNOW we all just want a healthy baby. This is just for fun. What would you want the sex of your first baby to be?
I have always wanted a girl. I think it is because how close I was to my mom, and all of that other fun stuff, like the clothing and accessories.
But on the flip side, it would be nice to have a boy too, for an older brother to watch out for his/her sibling.

Funny question.
Its strange, I ALWAYS said I wanted ONLY BOYS.. like I'd LOVE to have 3 or 4 boys, my little baseball team, since I just think boys are sooo much fun and I've always felt in some weird way that I "relate" to boys better, since growing up I was SUCH a tomboy and so not a girly girl.. I'm not even sure what I'd DO with a girly girl.. LOL
OF COURSE everytime my mom hears this, she wishes ALL girls on me!!  just for payback  and so that they can put me through what I put HER through
That said, I KNOW DH is really hoping for a little girl someday.. I see how he adores his niece and he so wants that.. and so I secretly hope we have one but I'd never admit it to my Mom

I can honestly say that, for me, I really wouldn't care....I just want a little bambino!
For DH, I know he would love a boy...He has the name picked and everything!

I would like to have a girl first.
I don't know why but I have this image that when a girl is born first she is more prone to "help" mommy.

i want 4 boys! (though obviously ill be happy with any babies  )
girls scare the cr@p out of me though  but i do have to admit... the idea of DH making pig tails and having a tea party Does make it all seem worth it

Deb - WEIRDO (sorry couldn't resist). Though I will say your theory does make a point, since I was 2nd born and NEVER helped my mom out.... i was much more a Daddy's helper
Neenie - my boys will take on your boys anyday BUT word to the pigtails and tea party Having a girl would be sooo worth it just to see our respective DH's have to endure that .. and with pleasure
To sum up, though - as much as I used to dwell on these things, i.e. whether I'd prefer to have a boy or girl.. after starting to go through this TTC process, I truly TRULY do want nothing more than a healthy child or maybe a couple of each

boogie down bronx here sista!! (well ok, I lived in the bronx for like 1 year BUT my parents were from the Bronx.. so grandma and grandpa are gonna make sure my boys represent
