From ivillage:

If the firstborn are twins of this type [fraternal], you are about five times more likely to repeat twinning with the next pregnancy than would be true in the general population. Chat Icon

I think DH and I have to have a talk about waiting a little longer on that next pregnancy after this one. Chat Icon

It's very common to have another set of fraternal twins if you have a set already (either naturally or through fertility treatments). Me and DH are happy ours are identical!!

I have heard the chance of having 2 sets of identical is unheard of!

I am very happy about that because if me and DH had anymore we would want one more. However, there is a 1 in 70 million chance you can ... i read that somewhere. Chat Icon

1 in 7) million may seem small, but boy does it seem like a good shot!

Even though I think now, having just one must be so boring.

Just adding my 2 cents here.. MY MIL had my DH and BIL (identical twins) and the next pregnancy she had was also a set of identical twins. Chat Icon
