compression belly band after birth
Just wondering...did any use a compression belly band after giving birth?
I am having my second c section in a few weeks and wanted to get one of those tightening belly bands. When I was in the hospital after #1 they gave me a cheap one that really gave me alot of support and made me feel tight and secure the days after. I feel like it also helped the swelling and supported my back. but I am nervous they won't have any this time, since I actually had to ask for it and it seemed like they don't always have them.
The only one I saw at the store was the Belly Bandit which is what I want but it's $70. I was wondering if there is one out there that is less expensive and works well! If not I will spend the $ it will be totally worth it. Let me know! thanks

If you look on Amazon they have them for around $50 depending on which one you wanted to get. I have heard pretty good things about them for after a c-section so I'm thinking it would be worth it.

they gave me one for each c-section... before you spend the money maybe ask your doc if they will be giving you one again? That's weird that you had to ask for one!
