June/July Mommies
I'm due July 4th with #3 but I'm used to having winter babies. We're going to be team so I'm not sure what I should have on hand for this baby.
Do you think I should be buying pants/long sleeve outfits, short sleeve shirts or tanks? I'll go shopping once the baby is born and I know the gender but I wanted to have a few outfits on hand for the first week. I just wasn't sure what weather temp I should gage the clothes toward.
TIA!

June/July Mommies
I had my DD in mid july and i did keep her in some light pants and short sleeve onesies in the house since we had the air conditioner running.

Re: June/July Mommies
DD was born June 14th. I kept her in a lot of short-sleeved onesies and pants, and a lot of sundresses (we got tons as gifts). If we were going out for walks, I kept her in lightweight stuff (shorts, dresses), because it was so hot last summer. In the house, she usually had pants on, and often a blanket over her, because the A/C was on.

DD was born July 7th and practically lived in short sleeve onsies during the day. I always had an Aden + Anais blanket over her. She also wore sleep and plays a lot.

DD is a June baby (born during a major heat wave last year) and she was in a short sleeved onesie pretty much the entire summer. Sometimes pants, but mostly just the onesie with bare legs.

Re: June/July Mommies
I have to say DD was born late June and it was a heat wave. In the 90s the week of her birth She was in short sleeved onesies all the time. We had her swaddled a lot to calm her so even in the AC of the house we didn't need long sleeved items. We had light receiving blankets around all the time, but she stayed in short outfits all summer long. It was HOT!

Now that I think more about it, we often did not have pants on DD either. Just the onesie and a blanket. How fast I've forgotten! I swear, those newborn days are one big blur now.

Re: June/July Mommies
My girls spent a lot of time in onesies and dresses and romper type outfits. It gets really hot some years. The onesie was easy because I could throw on pants or a sweater or just blankets or remove what was needed if it was hot. I did have a few very lightweight longsleeve pant button up outfits for my younger one who was born in late May bc it was still cool. It will really depend on how cold you like your house, how much time you plan to spend outdoors etc. I loved having summer babies bc I was never stuck in the house and didn't have to worry as much about illness. I could take them out almost right away for long walks once I felt up to it. You can go to the park etc. Good luck!

June/July Mommies
DD was born in June also during a heat wave. At home I kept her in Sleep and Plays mostly for the first few weeks since we had the AC on, and rompers when we went out.

Re: June/July Mommies
I had two summer babies June and August. You will want some long sleeved/pants clothing for indoors when the ac is on. For the most part you are going to want sleeveless, short sleeved/shorts. I usually carried light weight blankets around with me to throw over them in the car when the ac was on.

Re: June/July Mommies
i had ds mid july- july 23 He was kept in short sleeve onesies. We had no pants on him until september. I did use socks, but i think more for me than him. I dont even think we bought pants. At night he was in the carter sleep adn play things. We did swaddle a lot. Seemed to work well.
