I was just reading an article on the Daily News' website and saw this:
Neighbors said they’d often seen Nehemiah walking around in Army fatigues. Local media said the home schooled teen wasn’t allowed to play video games, and that his family never let him watch violent shows on television.
Sources told the paper the teen had long had murder/suicide fantasies.
He waited for her to fall asleep, and then is believed to have helped himself to his parents’ guns, including an AR-15 assault rifle and a .22 caliber pistol. They’d been kept in a closet, and not in a safe, the report said.

Exactly. Not to mention that there was a 2 year old and a 5 year old in the house. None of them deserved to die but how irresponsible could they be??
