Modified Promotional Criteria on IEP
What does this mean on a student's IEP? Does it protect them from getting held over?

Re: Modified Promotional Criteria on IEP
Yes, it means they have to meet 75% or 50% (whatever the criteria is) of the standards in order to be promoted, I believe all promotional criteria in the city, with the exception of self-contained, have to be 75% now.

Re: Modified Promotional Criteria on IEP
It only applies if the student fails the NYS tests. And the teacher uses a checklist and a mathematical calculation to determine the % there is no standard otherwise it wouldn't be individualized. With the common core there is a new checklist that is being used

Re: Modified Promotional Criteria on IEP
I haven't seen the checklist, but I teach self-contained, and most of the time, I put 50%.
