Period in transit and eating prior arrival
Anyone else become insanely hungry before she comes to town?
It's crazy how hungry I get a week before. Just something I have been tracking and noticed. It totally derails my diet for a week.
This happen to you? What do you do about it? I try to stick to foods that keep me full but I crave absolute crap food.

The day of arrival is like this for me. Sometimes I wonder if it's just the connection between comfort food and feeling cr@ppy.
Or maybe there's something hormonal to it. I know leptin (hunger hormone) is connected to reproduction, so you just never know.

Yes. But obviously pre-period calories don't count. Neither do during-period calories. So really, you only have to worry about like 2 weeks out of the month!
I feel you. I just try not to go overboard, and I still drink a ton of water to try to balance it out, but I usually give in at least a bit to my cravings. It makes for a happier me.

Re: Period in transit and eating prior arrival
I get insanely hungry about two days before, and I could probably sit and eat all day.
This used to be a major problem for me, but I'm happy with the way WW has extra points available, so I can deal with the cravings if necessary.
I mean, I didn't really lose weight the week of my period..it's insane how badly I bloat though. On the day when the bloating started to go down, the scale registered me at four pounds lighter in the afternoon than in the morning.
