Really dumb workout question...
i recently joined Lucille Roberts, have been going to the classes. i have not worked out in years. So my body is very sore. My question is, do I work through the soreness, or wait until I am not sore to do another class? I know that sounds so silly to ask. I just don't want to hurt myself. Thanks!

Re: Really dumb workout question...
Depends....strength training shouldn't be done consecutively (muscles need time to rest & repair)....but you can do cardio. In fact it'll be helpful in stretching & helping the soreness.

Thanks. So if I do a class that is for toning on Monday, Tuesday I should do cardio?

Re: Really dumb workout question...
Ideally yes.... However you will find people do classes everyday.
I used to teach aerobics, & saw many members everyday...I tried to explain to them I'm not their personal trainer, classes are designed for the group.
BUT if a class is designed for just upper, or just lower...sure you can do it on consecutive days. Ideally each individual muscle group needs resting (make sense).
