Alternative to bitter apple?
Apparently my pup enjoys the taste, because she laps it up when we spray it
Are there other alternatives?

lmao- I couldnt find anything. Shammy loved it also. I just had to watch him all the time and when I caught him chewing on something he shouldnt I used a can with pennies and would shake it. He usually stopped doing whatever it was he was doing.

Alternative to bitter apple?
My trainer uses a 50/50 isopropl alcohol and water in a spray bottle. She said it is much cheaper than bitter apple and that is what is in bitter apple plus the bitters. You can dilute it however you want though, 25/75 or whatever works for you.

Isn't that dangerous if they ingest it or it gets in their eyes?

The mandatory class we went to at North Shore also suggested a little hot sauce. We tried it one day, but he seemed to enjoy it hah. Now, watching him like a hawk has really made the difference.

We bought something else that wasn't bitters at petco...it tasted awful I can't even explain( to clarify I didn't try it but some how got it on my hand after I had washed and ate an apple...blek!)

Alternative to bitter apple?
When we were training our new puppy she liked the bitter apple spray too. I think we used some red pepper on the spot she was chewing and she learned her lesson.
