Gender Reveal

Did anyone have a gender reveal party and have some ideas or inspirations to share? My husband really wants to have a gender reveal party and I know my MIL and SIL really want to help plan it. I saw some ideas on pinterest but would love some more!

Hi! I never really post but had to share...we had the sonogram tech write the gender in a card and sealed it then off to the bakery we went and had cupcakes made and only one had a colored center. Whoever ate the cupcake with the colored center was the one who got to announce. It ended up being one of my closest girlfriends and she was so thrilled! It made for a really fun party. Good luck!

We had a small one with just immediate family and had my family in Cali and best friend in PA via Skype during the cake cutting, it was awesome! We were all shocked and excited when we cut the cake and saw pink! I bought "team pink" "team blue" pins and asked the guests to wear either pink or blue to show their guess. I also had a poster board set up by the front door with the pins for them to sign under boy or girl and also suggest names. It was a lot of fun, but soooo hard not to peek in the envelope after getting the telltale sono!
