endometrial biopsy
I can't seem to find my other post to bump it. I'm having this done next week, just wondering if anyone could share their experience with this test? How bad is it?

After the HSG this was cake!! Took all of 2 mins and I hardly felt a thing! Speculum was worst part  I did have a little bit of cramping while he was taking the sample (less than the HSG) and I didn't have any discomfort after. I did take 600mg ibuprofen an hour before the procedure.

Mine was by far the worst test I had done. It was the most painful of all the tests/procedures I have done over the years.

It is painful and I did tear up, BUT the Dr. counted to 10 and the test was over. My mom was holding my hand the whole time. So while it is unpleasant, it is over quick!

agree that while it is unpleasant it's over fast. I took pain reliever about half hour before the procedure. obviously, I did not go alone. needed a driver because of pain reliever!
in the long run it can rule out or diagnose a potential problem, that thought kept running through my head!

Hopefully you'll have a better experience.
I have to agree with this...but still not as bad as an IV in the hand, to put it all in perspective. It really is so fast. But I won't lie: it smarts.

I totally psyched myself out for this. I took 3 Advil about 30 minutes before... It was definitely uncomfortable, but not as horrible as I anticipated based on what I had read online.
You'll be ok! It is fast!
