thoughts on tile for bathroom
what type of tile do you think i should use?
dh and i are going to be using a light carrera marble tile on the wall of our combo bath/shower, but it won't of go on the walls of the bathroom other than in the shower
dh wants to use a darker gray tile on the floor
does any one have this? can anyone find pics of either bathrooms that have this, or tile you think would go?
vanity will be a dark brown wood, with a white sink

thoughts on tile for bathroom
Tried to post pic but not posting:( they have a lot of bathroom layouts on HOUzz.com that is what I used to redo our bathroom.. I have the grayish in my downstairs helf bath which I like ( will take pics when I get home. The upstairs is more of the beigy tile and I loove it! its not finished still needs paint and little touches here and there. but here are some pics.

What about black? Here is one of my bathroom where we used light carrara and black
The one thing I would change if I had it to do over again was that I would use bigger tiles on the floor and shower floor. Cleaning all those grout lines is a HUGE PITA

Thanks! We went to Cancos tile in Westbury and one of the designers there helped us pick out the tile and design it all.

We have carrera in two of our bathrooms and Calcutta in the third.
They each have a different floor.
This is our hall bath
dark grey stone floor with carrera in shower and sink top and grey vanity
we also did a basketweave backsplash on the sink that matches the basketweave in the shower
our master bath has carrera tops & shower walls with "linen" tile on the floor and dark wood cabinets, these pics were taken before we were completely finished
our guest bath is tiny, wood floors, dark wood vanity & calcutta marble in the shower

Yay! I can finally share- we did a dark gray 12x12 floor tile with a light gray 12x12 halfway up the wall
Mosaic with chair rail on top. Then in the shower we did 6x6 from the chair rail on up
Vanity is dark wood with European white bowl
I don't know how to post pictures but if you send me fm with your email address I'd be happy to send you pics
I love our bathrooms lol
