Ended up in L&D last night
As we were driving home from my bday dinner last night DH hit a icy patch while turning and we slammed into a curve. Called the on call doctor and drove to lij. Upon arriving we were immediately checked in and given a room. I was hooked up to a fetal heart monitor and contraction machine, everything was fine. The ran bloodwork while I watched the mummy on my flat screen LOL. Then did did a internal u/s and sonogram to make sure my cervix and placenta were in tack. Everything was perfect!!!! I was out within just over 3 hours.
LIJ was so awesome, from the staff to the room. I feel so content about my care there and looking forward to seeing them again in May!!
I couldn't really sleep well last night, lots of adrenaline. My neck and back are kinda achy, but overall I feel OK. The baby is as active as ever. Hopefully the car is OK. Thinking of staying home tomorrow and taking it easy.
So we are OK!!!!!
Forgot one thing, DH thinks he heard the tech refer to the baby as "he".... We are team green, that was the only annoying part!!! We did tell her before she started that we didn't know  oh well!!

glad you're ok! Don't worry about the tech saying "he" I've had some tell me that they always refer to babies as "he" (or "she"), whatever that particular sono tech usually says, it's just their way of addressing the baby I guess. I wouldn't focus on it too much, in my last pregnancy I caught a tech saying he and I had a girl.

Glad you are ok. How scary!
Don't worry about the he part. My dr knew we were team green and when ever she would talk she would say he. We left a few times wondering. Well dd is a girl haha. It's more common to use he.
