Finally got that BFP!!
Last month I was tricked by the evil blue evap lines. This month, a clear as day BFP 
I'm planning to check out Stony Brook Midwives since I want a new doc. Any feedback would be great.
Happy and healthy 9 months to everyone, and I look forward to a much longer stay!

Congratulations!! The midwives delivered my DD in November 2010. I actually switched to them when I was 30 weeks  Thy were fabulous and I was very happy with my experience. I am now 15 weeks along with my 2nd and using them again. I've had some issues in the first few weeks with bleeding, but they were very thorough, comforting, and easy to get ahold of at any time! I have my appointments at the setauket office and again am very happy with them there.

Congrats!
I used SB Midwives (East Setauket office) when i was pregnant with my DS, and they are all such wonderful,caring women. All the SB hospital staff were great during delivery too. It is great that they are part of the larger University Associates in OB/GYN staff and facility so you have experts in everything right there within the practice.
I went to a bunch of "Meet the Midwives" nights before and during pregnancy so you can really meet them all since only some of them work in certain offices, but anyone could deliver you. I would definitely recommend going to one... you get a real feel for their philosophy about birth.
