Can a regular Dr prescribe my Birth Control
I am out and I have been calling my OB for 3 days to get a new refill and the pharmacy called 2 times. I have an appointment on Feb 5th, but I am suffering now. I take it for a severe hormonal imbalance. I was pretty sure I had another refill and I keep checking the status at CVS online and it says pending. I can't function without it. Dizzy, lightheaded, etc.. Can I go to my regular dr or the local clinic I have been to and get a prescription from them?

There is no law why they can't.
They might not want to, but a doctor can write a script for any medication even if it is outside of their speciality area.

Yes, your primary can give you a script for BC.

Thank you...I will go there tomorrow... I am so out of it now... I found a pack with 2 extra pills in it, but I am slowly losing it....
