What are you making if your snowed in?
I thought I did a great job of stocking up but DH feels we need more food 
We will likely do a fish sauce of some kind bc DH loves to make that. I bought dough to make cookies, I rarely make cookies but snowy weather seems to call for it.
Bought the makings of sausage and peppers, home made pizza...
cheese to snack on, cereal which we never really have in hand..
skirt steak...
like to have options

DH likes snack type foods when he's confined to the house, so he'll pick on cheese, dried sausage, crackers, pretzels. Maybe I'll start him off with a good breakfast in the morning.
I planned chicken soup for tomorrow, and maybe burgers and baked fries and onion rings for dinner.
I plan to defrost a pork butt, so that will become pulled pork for Sunday, with homemade cole slaw and mac n'cheese.
I'm in the mood for lemon pound cake, I found fresh lemons in my fridge, so that's definitely being baked, and probably chocolate chip cookie bars for DH.
I have no plans to go out food shopping this weekend. There's enough stuff in the pantry/fridge/freezer to last a while.

What are you making if your snowed in?
pizza tonight, meatloaf & mashed potatos tomorrow. Baking a cinnamon roll bread now and maybe some cookies. We are suppose to be going to the Melting Pot Sunday weather dependent if not baked ziti.

Yesterday, I made a huge pot of chicken soup. DH wanted a warm gooey carrot dessert that's native to us, and I made that last. He's home today.. so he got his requests in
Tonight, I'll be making some brownies.

I just baked chocolate chip cookies with DD. making homemade pizzas tonight, a pulled pork tomorrow. Sunday a pot of gravy.

Tomorrow:
Hot cereal with cream and fresh blueberries and Herb Tea for breakfast
Croque Monsieur with Tomato Bisque with carrot and celery sticks for lunch
Herb Roasted Chicken with sausage & sage stuffing, Roasted Brussels sprouts, Rice, Gravy and Buttermilk biscuits for supper
Dessert is Nutella Brownies and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.
Sunday:
Breakfast is soft boiled eggs with toast and fresh squeezed orange juice
Lunch will be Chicken Noodle Soup with homemade bread
Dinner .. will have to be played by ear. We are supposed to go to my MIL's house but if the roads are still gross I will probably make Spaghetti and meatballs and an All Day Sunday sauce with garden salad and garlic knots.

I am going to try to make brownies from scratch tomorrow, I only ever attempted it once and they were gross, not sweet at all.
Tomorrow night is leftover night, but I have a whole chicken I might defrost and roast instead (DH's favorite meal).

I always make my grandma's doughnuts when we are stuck in the house. I will probably bake some bread too and freeze it.

What are you making if your snowed in?
Last night I made llinguini with roasted garlic and oil and romaine salad w pine nuts and pecc Romano cheese. Marinated hanger steak for today. This morning I made pancakes and chicken and rice soup in the crock pot. For lunch I made chick pea salad. I've gained five pounds already!

Last night I made pulled pork, today I am making a pot of sauce for tomorrow and tonight is meatloaf and mashed potatoes. gonna work on a cake or some cookies in a little while!! I love being snowed in!!!

Nothing - we just had our house converted from oil heat to gas (they came and did the work on Friday!) and our new gas stove and oven aren't hooked up yet  We've had to eat out pretty much all weekend

I made this from my Bon Appetite mag that I have been dying to try. Found the Meyer Lemons at costco. If you like lemony tart things you will LOVE this! Salted Honey Lemon Tart
