MSWs looking for work
My boss is looking for Service Coordinators again, primarily for Suffolk County.
His preference is for new MSWs, as he would like to offer people who need to gain experience a chance. (He would consider BSWs if they have some case management experience).
As mentioned, it is a case management role that requires field work (you are reimbursed weekly for your gas mileage).
Feel free to FM if interested. Right now most of our cases are based in the Port Jeff, Babylon, CI/Patchogue areas so you could plan your visits accordingly and then have the rest of your days in the office. (Either Babylon or Port Jeff).
Average caseload is 14 and you need to see your client monthly for a face to face.
Populations are TBI, some mental health/past history addictions, elderly and complex medical needs.
There are lots of perks to working here too that I can tell you in FM.
We generally try to set up caseloads so all your people are in the same place too.

Re: MSWs looking for work
What's the pay like for someone with a bsw? Just curious how it aligns with where I work. Thanks

P.S. I know he's still looking. I spoke with him about this yesterday.
