WWYD-Toddler Back Pain
My DD is 22 months old and for the last few days has been yelling "my back, my back!" and sometimes cries when she is yelling it. I have noticed it in the car seat and when I lay her flat to change her.
I thought nothing of it...until I googled
I'm thinking of calling the pediatrician, anyone have any experience with a toddler complaining of back pain?

Re: WWYD-Toddler Back Pain
MY BFF went through this with her son, she took him to a pediatric chiropractor. She swears it did wonders and her son is now pain free!

If it were my kid, I'd go to the Ped.

Re: WWYD-Toddler Back Pain
Definitely take your DC to the ped and then a specialist if necessary. I worked on a peds rehab unit and given what I witnessed, anything is possible. While it is probably nothing or something simple, better not to take chances. Hope she feels better.

Re: WWYD-Toddler Back Pain
I had this same issue with my daughter at around the same age. She would hold her back and say her back hurt but at random times, no pattern. I took her to get an xray and they didn't find anything. Eventually she stopped doing it. Maybe it was growing pains or something. I would get it checked out just for peace of mind.

Re: WWYD-Toddler Back Pain
My son is the same age and I notice he has been doing it too, so strange. But the thing is, my husband and I have been complaining about our backs lately, and I feel like he may just be mimicing up, being that it doesnt stop him from doing what he's doing?
