Is it just me or are you secretly relieved when people don't return carts??

Random twin mommy thought for the day.... I hate the thought of having to leave the babies in the car, even for 30 seconds, for me to run down the parking lot aisle to the cart corral and grab a cart and bring it back to the car. How many of you are secretly relieved when you pull into Target or the grocery store and there are random carts floating around?? I love being able to pull into a spot next to a cart and just put the both infant carriers right in and be on our way!

My big worry is that I will pull in and there will be no carts outside (like when the overzealous young kid takes ALL the carts inside) and I won't even be able to get inside with them!

Am I weird for stressing over this? Ha...

So true!!!!!!! I park according to where the carts are and also if there could be enough room to put the cart next to the van. My girls are little enough to put them side by side in the seat of the cart, but I can not strap them in. So obviously, I dont want to leave the child that is first out of the car in the cart by herself for many reasons. The bigger things for me is waiting to see if there are new cars next to me when I come out of the store, parked closer and then I can't get the cart next to the van.

yes! haha I purposely try to park near random floating carts.

I just started putting them (or at least 1) into shopping carts and I was seriously wondering how the heck people managed this? Glad to know that my instinct of parking by an orphaned cart is the way to go!

Yes! Ive driven around the parking lots many times waiting for a spot to open up that has a shopping cart right there! lol Especially now in the colder weather when I just want to get inside as soon as possible and not take my time letting them walk in.

Absolutely. When there are posts with people griping about others not returning carts I always laugh to myself cause I love when people don't return them
