First appt. at LIIVF?
Hi guys...I have my first appt at LIIVF this week with Dr.Kokkanen. I just wanted to know if it was absolutely necessary to bring DH along..? Will they be doing blood work on him? Also I am still waiting for my medical records,but I wont get them before my appt. Is it ok? Any help appreciated guys..! Thanks..!

Hi! I went yest for the first time. My dh did come with me. Does he have to? I dont think so.. They will give him a script for bloodwork n for the semen analysis which can only b done in the melville office.
If you chhose to have genetic testing done tom they will draw blood. I also had an internal sonogram n to check for any infections. You will sit with a nurse who will go over everything. I still feel overwhelmed

Thanks for the response..So didnt u see the doc? If yes, which doc did you see? How was your overall impression regarding the staff etc..

I saw dr. Brenner. He sat with us n went over everything. He did the sonogram n the nurse does everything else. I was happy with the place n staff!!
