Re: checking in...

Going to be restarting up with RE as soon as damn AF shows her face (was supposed to be here yesterday). Had a missed miscarriage and D&C at 12 weeks in December. Hoping 2013 is better for us all.

I'm so sorry... Sometimes it takes a couple months to get back on a regular cycle again. It took me about 5-6 weeks but its different for everyone. I have heard of it taking 3-4 months for some.

My MC was in August at 11 weeks, followed by some health issues, followed by surgery in Dec. So Jan was the first month my husband and I started trying again. I am 5 DPO and feeling anxious. We tried A LOT last month and I REALLY thought I was preg. but it didn't happen. We tried a lot this month too and I am hopeful, but I have this feeling I'm just going to get another BFN. :(

Everyone around me is having babies too- its everywhere I turn. And I cringe whenever someone asks me if we're EVER gonna have kids since we have been married almost 5 years now. There is a part of me that wants to just tell everyone what happened so they can understand! Why does it have to be this big personal secret anyway? We wait to tell people we are pregnant until we are in the "safe zone" just in case there is a loss and then if there is, we are just supposed to keep quiet abouit like it's something to be ashamed of?

I guess I never really understood that.

Sorry I'm in a mood today...

I am stuck somewhere between hopeful and defeated. I don't think I could go through a 3rd mc. I'm starting to think that maybe it just isn't in the cards for me.

Well, I guess we officially started trying again this month. Not vey hopeful though. AF had been one chaotic crazy b!tch since the MC in Sept and it took 3 months for her to even make her first appearance. I am so hesitant about jumping in again Chat Icon

Re: checking in...

Doing well, passed my first pregnancy milestone of 8wks which is when I lost my triplets and around when I lost my pregnancy last year ... but now each day gets closer to my next milestone of 17wk4d. I was never able to wake up at 17wk4d and say "yes, I am still pregnant and my baby is doing well". It's still about 5wks away, but the nerves are creeping up.

I read some of your posts about your long and painful journey... I just have to say I am so inspired by your strength and positivity through all of it. You never seem let it discourage you from trying again, and I love your determination. I think I speak for many on these boards when I say I am completely rooting for you and hoping that your story has a happy ending!!

Thank you so much!!!!! It feels so surreal. I lay at my sonos every single time wondering if this is really happening and if it's really me laying there... I've thought that so many times over the years. It feels good to feel that way over something going right.

Good luck Michele! My sister in law did IVF and has 2 beautiful sets of twins- both a boy and a girl. Are you still seeing San Roman? I may have to switch obgyns because my company is getting a new insurance plan that doesn't cover my doctor and he is listed under the new plan.

As for me- I finally got a BFP last night! But I don't want to get too excited until I can can actually hear a heartbeat and make it past the first trimester.

Oh good! I dont know anything about the others. Theres not much of a selection. I never went to a male gyno before but I remember you giving him a great recommendation! I am sad to leave my doctor but I dont have a choice.
