Going from 2 to 3

We weren't planning on a third but I just took a PG test and saw a very dark positive line.... I'm in shock and scared but happy to be on this journey again. How hard was it to go from 2 kids to 3? My other 2 are almost 5 and 2 1/2.

Yay!! Congrats! I have no clue what the difference between 2 and 3 is but I think your older children are a great age for a 3rd. Sometimes the best things in life are the surprises Chat Icon Happy and healthy 9 months!

I can totally imagine this to be true. With 1 you adjust your schedule with 2 it's a game changer Chat Icon

That's good to hear. My other two are closer in age and it was difficult at first because the older one was still really little. I'm hoping with my oldest going into Kindergarten and the younger one 3 1/2 it will be a bit easier.

I can't tell you how it is yet (24 more days!) but we had a surprise #3 pregnancy and I will say the shock and fear goes away quickly. Within a few days we were soooo excited! Congrats!!

24 days to go, that's awesome. you are in the homestretch. It's good to know the shock and fear subsides quickly. Right now I'm pretty freaked out. Chat Icon

What I found hard when the 3rd was just born was when I had to go somewhere, it was harder getting 3 out & about with an infant & 2 older ones. But you get used to it fast. as far as everything else, it wasn't too much different going from 2 to 3, the good part is the older two have each other when you have to tend to the baby. Good luck & congrats!

this - exactly! by now us mom of 2's are pros Chat Icon so one more doesn't add *too much!!! Mine were 4 and 3 when DC #3 was born. But it also helps to have a very helpful husband...he was great! He would take the two out when running errands and leave me to take car of just #3
