Chocolate covered pretzel rod
I am making them as favors for my son's 5th birthday. The plan is to put mini m&m's since his name begins with a M. What chocolate should I use? These will be in favor bags for kids.

Re: Chocolate covered pretzel rod
I'd use milk chocolate. I love to use the nestles chocolate chips when I melt chocolate.

I did the same for dd bday we had at home. The 7 yo girls each took turns making the rods. We did white and milk.

Re: Chocolate covered pretzel rod
You don't need any special kind of chocolate- chocolate chips from any supermarket will do. If you find the chocolate to be too thick, don't heat it more. Heating it more will actually make it thicker. Instead add a drop of vegetable oil to thin it out.
