You can't scratch your ass without something thinking it's a sign of pregnancy.
Some work shindig today...assortment of junk food, which, since I'm in full-on PMS 'give me SWEET! now give me SALTY!' mode, worked out well for me until some asshat said "two slices of cherry pie AND a handful of Goldfish? Are we eating for two?"
I am so lucky that I work in a creative and casual environment because I was all "FOR YOUR INFORMATION I'm eating like this because I'm about to get my period and also FOR YOUR INFORMATION as far as I am concerned, sex is for recreational purposes only!"
It was accompanied by a bunch of side-to-side neck movements and a loud finger snap. And a bunch of laughs from coworkers.

I have kids and can tell you that I HATE that too.

I'm so glad that I'm old enough to be past the stage where everyone wants me to be pregnant, although I still get a couple of inquiries as to when we are having kids.
I'm 46 and starting to get crotchety in my old age, so a snotty retort is usually in order.
Something along the lines of menopause took over my uterus.

Ugh - that is one of my pet peeves too. DH and I work together so people are extra interested in our lives since we are the "office couple." I've gotten several comments when I've either taken time off for doctors' appointments (b/c apparently only pregnant women go to doctors right? ) , or not attended a happy hour (again because pregnancy would be the only reason for me not being able to make it).

People say the dumbest most inappropriate shit.
Someone told me that I could always freeze my eggs and get a sperm donor if I wanted kids.
Yeah, we totally weren't discussing that, but thanks for the inappropriate as **** suggestion. I'll be sure to ask how her uterus is holding up next time I see her.
