Haven't posted a lot on here but .....
I also didn't want to just disappear.
I haven't been on the board in a month or so because it's been a bit of a whirlwind over here.
DH and I were prepping for our first IVF for this month. Our DD was conceived through medicated IUI back in 2009. We obviously never went back on birth control after having her.
I had what I thought was a period in January only to find out in February that it wasn't a period and that we had gotten pregnant naturally. We were in such shock and disbelief! Only now am I feeling less shocked and confident with the pregnancy . I will be 14 weeks on Monday and so far all has been healthy and well. We are feeling beyond thankful and grateful.
I had switched RE for this procedure and was now with Dr. Zapantis in Jericho. I highly recommend him. From day one he was honest, attentive, understanding and worked with me as a patient without IF coverage. Even when I emailed him he responded quickly or would call me in response. If you are seeking one on one attention from your RE, you will find it in his office.
Also, during our prep for IVF, I price checked several recommended pharmacies (from my RE office and from here) and the best prices I found was from the pharmacy I used back in 2009. Dobbs Ferry Pharmacy in Westchester County. They have a website and they will deliver out here to Long Island.
Those were just a couple of things I wanted to share. I wish all of you lots of fertility blessings through this journey.
