Easter Bunny Photo mandatory?
DD is only 2 months old. We have plans the next 2 weekends and it will be a pain in the neck. Do you think we need to do the Easter Bunny photo? I'm sure she will be tortured and they are so over-priced......but this is her first Easter.
I'm torn!

Definitely not. It's probably better for her that she doesn't go (in terms of germs). :)

Easter Bunny Photo mandatory?
dd is 5.5 months and i'm torn too!! was gonna bring her tomorrow but i'm not feeling well so i dont know when or if i will do it now

My kids are 3 years old and 1 year old. Neither has a picture with the Easter bunny or Santa. Mandatory? HECK NO

The only reason I took DD last year was bc all of the grandkids were together, so we did it for my parents. I do not plan on taking DD this year. We didn't do pictures with santa either.

I don't think it is mandatory, and I would worry about all those germs with a 2 month old. With that said, will you look back and think it is a cute photo, and I am glad I fit it into our schedule?

I would try to find a free Easter bunny and get a pic. If you don't, no big deal. I only say that because the pics of got of dd with the bunny were when she was 6mo and there is NO way she would sit for a pic this year so I am not taking her. We couldn't even see Santa, she won't sit lol. So it could be harder if you are waiting for next year. I don't think it matters if you don't go next year either though.

I agree... I have yet to see a nice looking Easter bunny... They are always so creepy looking! I think my dd would go hysterical. We did take her to see santa though when she was 6 months...

Ditto. We didn't take Zach to see Santa his first Christmas either - he was only an infant so I would do the same for the Easter Bunny.

I took my girls at 6 weeks to Santa because I was off. We jut took them to the easter bunny today since we were on vaca this week and made a day of it. It was $27 with tax- not a lot. If its not important to you then dont stress it. We went to walt whitman in the am and there was no line at all.

As creepy as the Easter Bunny is, if DS was just a little older and it was warmer out I would be taking him... but definitely not mandatory!!
