Target formula???
Has anyone tried the Target brand formula? My friend used it and I was curious. I am breastfeeding, but going to transfer to formula. With my first child, we used Enfamil Gentlelease. I checked Target today and the same ingredients that is Gentlease is in the Target gentle brand. There is only one difference which is 5 more mg of iodine in the target brand. Everything else measures exactly the same.

Re: Target formula???
Used it and LOVED it. It was more than half the price. DD thrived on it. We used their version of Enfamil AR since she had reflux

Target formula???
We switched to the target version of enfamil gentlease since it's 15 dollar cheaper. It's a dryer texture than the enfamil but she is doing fine on it. I like it.

Target formula???
All formulas are regulated by the government to ensure they have the required amount of nutrition. Target formula is made by the same company that makes most other generic formulas (BRU, CVS, walmart's parents choice to name a few) The company is USA based with production factories in VT and GA. Check out this website for more (sorry I can't direct link from my phone)

I used generic formulas with my DS and never had a problem. Unfortunately for me DD2 is on Nutramigen and they don't make a generic for that.
As for the iodine- it's 5 mcg (micrograms) difference Here's the list of required amounts

Target formula???
I use it for my son and he seems to be doing fine with it...they all have to have the same nutrients in it so there is hardly any difference other than the price

Re: Target formula???
I think it is definitely worth a try. All babies are different and you never know which formula will work best for them. Unfortunately, the Target version of DD's formula (Similac Sensitive) did not work for her, but I am sure many babies tolerate it just fine.

Target formula???
I switched DS from brand name to Target version of the Gentlease at about 6 months. He had zero issues with the switch and its so much cheaper and check on their website for coupons on it.
