Do your children like each other? Do they ever have issues with jealousy?

Yes and yes.

Jealousy occurs on both sides.

They do love each other and DS tells me all the time!

My twins like each other and it's hard for them to be separated. That being said, they fight over EVERYTHING. They get jealous of each other all the time and they both get jealous of their baby brother.

not too many jealousy issues.
they are 5 and 3 Chat Icon Chat Icon and i am amazed at how well they get along and actually play together. i for some reason didn't think a boy and girl could play as well as they do!
they also fight like crazy too...but it goes with the terriory!
ETA to say that they genuinely like each other!

Re: Moms of 2 or more LO's

To answer my own question- DS (now turning 5) loved his baby sister until she started walking and taking his toys. Now he fights with her (she just turned 2) all day long. She loves her big bro to pieces so it makes me sad that he isn't nicer to her. I know he loves her and will be sweet once in a while but I just wish he treated her better. I feel he is acting out lately (really badly at home- not at all n school) due to jealousy. Really hoping it's a phase and once they get older they will get along.

There is definitely jealousy at times but my boys have an incredible bond and love each other very much.

My boys are 3.5 & 2.5, they fight the majority of the day over toys & mommy's attention. But they also play together so nicely. When the younger one is sleeping, the older is constantly asking for him & vice versa.

Re: Moms of 2 or more LO's

Depends on the minute....with 4 it changes all the time. They can be getting along beautifully, but then all hell breaksLoose! But there is no doubt in my mind thy love each other unconditionally. They ask about one if they r not there and they r always looking out for one anotherChat Icon

Jealousy def happens, it's a given, but I try my best to always talk them all up. I think the hardest thing about 4 boys is that I never want one to feel less than another.

Re: Moms of 2 or more LO's

I don't have 2 (yet) but my sister has 3 kids all close in age. The older two (almost 3 and almost 2) fight and the 3 year old always takes things away from the 2 year old. They really don't pay much attention to the baby though.

ETA sometimes though they act all lovey to each other and the 3 year old will ask that the 2 year old go with her places (like if my mom is taking 1 of them out to the grocery store just to go out, or something like that)

My three are
Chat Icon =7.5
Chat Icon =almost 6
Chat Icon =2.5

The middle one antagonizes everyone. I think she thrives on negative attention. Chat Icon The youngest one is...well, he's 2. Enough said. The oldest is a very sweet, loving child but she's in the "It's not faaaair..." stage, so no matter what the other two do, get, or have it's simply just not fair. So yeah, there's conflict. But, as others have said, they truly love each other and play so nicely--currently (and this changes weekly) about 75% of the time. I think we've got a pretty good dynamic going, especially now that the youngest is becoming less like a baby and more like a kid.

Mine are 3 and 1 and as soon as the 1 year old became mobile, the fighting began (he's a toughie).

But, now that he's more toddler and less baby, they are starting to play together as well which is nice and my older DS loves to make his little brother laugh (he's got the sweetest little giggle).

Re: Moms of 2 or more LO's

My boys are a year apart and tend to scream at least once a day about a toy the other one is holding....but, they are truly best friends. They play together all day and don't really like to be apart.

Adore each other. My older one gets peeved at the little one once in a wihle, but that's the extent of it.

Ditto. They are thick as thieves . BUT they are only approaching 3 and 1 so we'll see what the future holds. As it is now, if I tell the baby "no no" bc she's about to tear apart my box of garbage bags her big sis tells me, "Don't talk to my sister like that!!"
