Question about twins
I have had two sonograms, the most recent one being at 6 wks and there was one gestational sac and one heart beat. Is there still a chance of twins or not really? Just curious! Was hanging out with a friend today who has twins so got me thinking!!!

Question about twins
The sono tech at my first appt was super thorough and there was definitely only one. Any things possible but I think the odds would be slim.

Re: Question about twins
The odds are def slim. Is there a reason for you to suspect there may be more than one? Fertility treatments? Does it run in your family?

Re: Question about twins
I found out that I was having identical twins at 13 weeks. This was after 2 previous sonograms, I do not fault my doctors at all.

Question about twins
Usually at this stage it can be a bit too early to tell, just wait a bit longer for another sono before confirming anything. I had patients who did ivf and taught that they were having twins and ended up with a single baby, however with ivf the chances of having multiple babies are very high. visit:www.babyangelsonline.com
