Afterschool Nanny/Babysitter
Hello,
I am looking at various afterschool child care options for my 6 year old twins in Sept. I have been looking into after school child care options in the neighborhood. However, they end at 6pm. My husband and I work in Manhattan and 6pm may be difficult some nights.
I am now looking into an afterschool babysitter/nanny to stay with the kids until 6:30 - 7pm. Can anyone tell me about their experience with this type of care and approximately how much they pay?

A regular babysitting range is usually between $10-12 an hour. I would probably offer $200 a week for 3pm-7pm Monday through Friday.
