When did you start vitamins, and how often do you give them?
Do you always remember? Do they like taking them?

DS is 6 months and his Dr. gave them to him a few days ago, they are liquid drops that I give to him daily, ds will eat pretty much anything so he has no problem taking it. So far I have not forgotten to give it to him.

Re: When did you start vitamins, and how often do you give them?
All of my kids started on the liquid ones at 6 months. At 2 years old my twins started on the fluoride chewable ones. Im really good about remembering to give it to them bc I always put it in the baby's last bottle at bedtime and my twins always ask for it because I gues they like them.

Re: When did you start vitamins, and how often do you give them?
DD started Vitamin D drops at 2-3 weeks old bc she is bf and my dr. recommended it.
We switched to a multivitamin with iron (poly vi sol or one of those) at 4 or 5 months but she does not like it. (We did the iron because she wasnt on cereal yet and the dr. recommended it.) Anyway, she makes a face and spits it out. So we give it 1-2x a weeks…or whenever we remember or we try to put it in a bottle. It smells nasty though. The vitamin d was yummy and smelled like cherries. This one with the iron is just gross, I feel bad even giving it to her!

I started at 1 yr once my son was off formula as told by my ped. We use liquid and I put it in his oatmeal every morning.

Started at 6 months and give them to DD everyday. She didn't take them from a while from like 15-18 months because she outright refused the liquid ones. I finally convinced my ped to give us chewables and she loves them.

I think around 2 mo. I put them in their bottle. I tried giving straight as newborns and they gagged. They never had issues with it in bottles.
ETA I make bottles for th next day and put them in so I wont forget.

I gave vitamin D drops from birth and then switched to a rx multivitamin with iron at 6 months. I do forget here and there but she gets it nearly every day. It took a few weeks for her to get used to the multivitamin but now she takes it no problem.
