same room or separate?

What is everyone doing? And have you had trouble with one waking the other?

Im having trouble w naps with my girls. They are almost 8 months ( born at 32 weeks) and they are just figuring out the nap - they have always been cat nappers.

I have separated them at naptime bc one will always wake the other. One twin is sleeping in the pack n play in our walk in closet!! They do sleep in the same room at night and havent really woken each other up.

I just finished "the baby sleep solution" and it says to keep them together. Im just failing with this though! I have a sound machine and air purifier going.

We are moving in a month or so and we do have an extra room (which we wanted as a guest room for family) Im debating just making two separate rooms for the girls. But then i would have no place for visitors to sleep when they visit (we recently moved to nashville)

What do I do? Experienced moms - HELP!!!!!!

I ask myself this question all the time! I think in the end it is a personal choice.
My twins share a room but we have room for them to have their own. They have no problem sleeping through crying in the middle of the night and never wake eachother up but am wake ups and naps are different.
Ds always wakes up first and wakes dd up. I am home now on maternity leave and dd has been very cranky and I think she just needs more asleep than ds even though ds sleeps 11 to 12 hours a night. They sleep in separated rooms at my parents house and slept there yesterday dd took a 3.5 hour nap and slept an hour later than ds.

I'm so torn I want to keep them together and I think they would miss eachother. When they wer younger I felt like they went through phases and I did the same thing with a pnp. I am thinking about using ds #2's nursery for a trial run bc I think in the end good sleep is important!

My twins share a room. They learned to sleep through anything, so one doesn't wake the other one from crying. But we also purposely never tip-toed or whispered when the kids were napping/ sleeping so thye have always been pretty sound sleepers.

The only thing that is now an issue for me bc they share a room.....they are almost 3 and are still in cribs bc they will get into trouble together if they are just in regular beds.

My twins share a room and usually sleep through the other one crying. When they wake up and the other is not there, they will literally go into a panic screaming for their sibling. So i don't have any plans on seperating until they are older.

I plan to have both in the same room but not in the same crib. Once they get older I will move one into another room. But for now both are staying in one room.

My girls have always been together. During the day for naps I use a sound machine to drown out outside noise and noise from each other. Sometimes it is a problem with them trying to fall asleep since their cribs are side by side. They like to play together exchanging socks and lovies back and forth. I find it endearing to watch on the baby monitor though

My boys are almost 18 Months. They have been together since they were born. Yes, at times I was running across the room to get the crying baby,but now 90% of time, the otherwill stay asleep. They do get used to it. My boys REALLY love being together. At night after bath they both go in crib together & have "Jump time" or sometimes go in each indiv crib & watch each other play/jump. In the Am it's really sweet to hear them talk/bable to each other. I would NOT change it. It was worth the CIO to get to this point

I plan to keep the twins in the same room in the beginning. Two of my children will always have to share since we only have 3 bedrooms, so if I have a boy, he will bunk up with my older DS when he gets older. If they are 2 girls, they will stay in the same room.
